Description:

Does the thought of planning exotic vacations and traveling to distant places inspire you? Do you enjoy meeting new people experiencing new foods, sites and cultures? This workshop will introduce you to opportunities that will put your interests into practice. Students will learn how to become a travel agent; the type of skills and training necessary in order to succeed; how to become a CTA or Certified Travel Associate and finding employment. In addition, discussions include covering the nitty-gritty legal requirements to starting a travel business, as well as the aspects of working from home as a Home-Based travel agent.
