Description:
This 48-hour Online EKG Technician Program will allow students to obtain employment as an Electrocardiograph (EKG/ECG) Technician. The EKG Technician is responsible for performing diagnostic tests to assess the heart rhythm and rate in patients. EKGs are also performed before and after operations, during physical examinations of patients, for patients with a history of heart disease, when patients are experiencing chest pains, and when the ordering physician deems it necessary. This course includes 48 hours in a Hands-on classroom, along with the ability to sit for the National EKG Technician Certification Exam.

Mandatory Online Orientation: Wednesday, 4/15/26 (6pm-7pm)
Class Schedule: MWF, 5/4/26 - 5/23/26 (6pm-10pm)
Hands-On Lab: 5/9, 5/16, 5/23 (9am-1pm, Santa Ana College, Room I-107)
